We focus on contact improv, group, partner and other connecting dance skills useful for Ecstatic, Circle, Family and other free-form dances.
We always have fun with group dances like Orbiting Ballroom FLOCKING and CIRCLE DANCE. Dance skills like throws, lifts, spirals, falls, eye contact, weight sharing, contact point, leading/following, etc. are taught through simple, fun exercises.
We try to meet people where they are at, beginning to advanced. We move through the exercises fast, with much happening in each class, and some free movement.
One of my co-teachers is Dana Mirick; I frequently invite guest teachers to share their skills and ideas.

Bring your kids, they can watch videos that parents bring. When they emerge from the back room we dance with them, too!
We create a supportive, warm environment with check-ins, feedback, sweet people, loving energy, kindness, community, fun.
Bring treats for hanging after if you wish! Alcohol is okay.
